Joe Christianson - Is the co-owner of Matagamon Wilderness. He is a
carpenter and rebuilt cabin five with his son Allen, he also built cabin 6.
He takes care of everything. Keeping the campground cleaned up and well
maintained. He is a Master Maine Guide, guiding all seasons when he can.

Sue Christianson - Is also the co-owner of Matagamon Wilderness. She
bakes all the baked goods in the store, like the Homemade Breads, Donuts,
Cookies, Brownies, Italian Rolls, Pies and much more. She loves to fish and
go bird hunting although she does not have much time to do either of those
things.

Hanna Christianson - Is our oldest daughter. She is currently attending
the University of Maine at Presque Isle and majoring in criminal justice. She
lives in Presque Isle while at university; traveling down to Matagamon when
she can to help out. She does a lot of our computer work, like our brochures
and business cards, and this website.

Allen Christianson - Is our only boy. He has graduated from home-school.
He now works for us. He received his Master Maine Guides License and now
guides for us during the fall bear hunting season. He does carpentry as well,
he helped his dad Joe to rebuild cabin 5 and to build cabin 6. Allen cuts
and chops the wood for store and cabins. In need of a Snowmobile Guide? Well
Allen is your man!

home-school. She now works for us and is a big help here at Matagamon
Wilderness. She makes baked goods to sell in the store; she is a short hand
cook, making pizza, Italians, etc.; she helps clean the cabins, the outhouses
in the campground and the store; and she also helps run the store checking
people in and out as well as being a cashier. Her favorite pastimes are
swimming and fishing in the summer, in the fall she enjoys bird hunting, and
in the winter snowmobiling. Katie also owns her own ice cream business
called The Moose Is Loose Ice Cream, and Avon; as well as babysits for folks
out town.
