The Cabins at Matagamon Wilderness are located on a quiet road across the river
from the Store. We now have 6 cabins, the sixth has just been completed in
December 2005.  All of our cabins are great 4 season get aways. Since they are
4 season they all include a wood stove and/or propane heater. There is no
electricity, however, there are gas lights and a gas stove for cooking. There
are journals in all the cabins so that people can share their experiences and
fun with other folks that stay here at Matagamon. It is fun to read.
Our cabins can accommodate any size group. Our small cabin sleeps 4 (this cabin
includes linens), three of our cabins sleep 6, our big cabin sleeps 8 and our
newest cabin sleeps 12 (this cabin includes linens and indoor plumbing).
